  • Danquilla Townsend, Founder, Therapist

    Danquilla Townsend is the Founder of Tennessee Home Care Partners and Gloria’s Place, where she leads with a vision rooted in Whole Person-Centered Care. With over 20 years of experience in the mental and behavioral health field, Danquilla brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and compassion to the communities she serves.

    Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles and successfully built and supported private practices, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centered services. Her professional experience includes working in psychiatric hospital settings such as Lakeside Behavioral Health, Delta Specialty Hospital, and Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arkansas, as well as community-based work with Youth Villages. These experiences have equipped her with a deep understanding of both acute and long-term behavioral health needs.

    Danquilla is deeply passionate about serving individuals who are navigating mental health challenges, living with disabilities, or experiencing barriers to stability. Her heart is especially dedicated to the elderly and the homeless, ensuring they receive not only care but also dignity, respect, and a true sense of belonging.

    Her approach is grounded in compassion, advocacy, and empowerment. She believes in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them on their journey toward stability, healing, and independence.

    Through Tennessee Home Care Partners and Gloria’s Place, Danquilla continues to create pathways for individuals and families to access meaningful support, resources, and opportunities to improve quality of life.

  • Dr. Avanti Brown, APRN, DNP, PMHNP-BC,CARN-AP

    CEO | Provider | Educator & Community Advocate Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner | Addictions Advanced Practice Provider.

    Dr. Avanti Brown, a native of West Tennessee, has been serving the mental health community since 2013. She is the CEO of Brown Behavioral Health Services, an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) – BSN and DNP programs, a member of the Board of Directors at UTHSC, and a Healthcare Stakeholder for the Community Advisory Council (CAC) for the ACCESS (Achieving Cancer Care Equity and Systematic Solutions) Study.

    Dr. Brown earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. In 2021, she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at UTHSC, specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and became ANCC board-certified. During her graduate studies, she received multiple awards, including the Chancellor Diversity Scholarship Award, University Scholar Diversity Scholarship, HRSA ANEW Grant, and the Grace S. Wallace Scholarship Award.

    In 2022, she became a certified Medical Examiner for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, providing DOT (Department of Transportation) physical exams for CDL drivers and students. In 2025, she achieved dual certification as a Certified Addictions Advanced Practice Provider, expanding her expertise in MAT and MOUD treatment.

    With extensive experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics across telehealth, outpatient, and inpatient settings, Dr. Brown combines clinical excellence with compassion to ensure her patients receive the best possible care.

  • Care Coordinator

    Tia Triplett serves as the Care Coordinator for Tennessee Home Care Partners, where she plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of quality care and support services. Since the early stages of the agency, Tia has been instrumental in building and maintaining the foundation of daily operations, particularly in scheduling, staffing, and matching caregivers with clients based on their unique needs and personalities. With a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. Tia works diligently behind the scenes to ensure that all schedules are organized, shifts are properly covered, and office operations run efficiently. Her ability to coordinate multiple moving parts while maintaining consistency and reliability makes her an essential part of the organization’s success.

    Tia is known for her compassionate nature, professionalism, and punctuality. As a true people person, she takes pride in supporting both clients and staff, always striving to meet the needs of those she serves with care and understanding. Her dedication to creating positive experiences for clients and fostering a supportive environment for team members reflects her passion for helping others.
